Declaration to the APDP
In accordance with Law 2017-20 on the Digital Code of the Republic of Benin (Book 5 relating to the protection of personal data and privacy), as amended by Law No. 2020-35 of 6 January 2021 on the Digital Code of the Republic of Benin, the Watchman platform complies with the legal requirements regarding the protection of personal data, further to the extract of deliberation No. 2026-144/AT/APDP/DST/SC OF 29 APRIL 2026 of the Personal Data Protection Authority authorising the processing of personal data by the company GLOBAL IT SERVICE (GITS) via the platform www.watchman.bj.
In any case, Watchman only collects personal information relating to users for the purpose of certain services offered by the platform www.watchman.bj. Users provide this information knowingly, particularly when they enter it themselves.
In accordance with the provisions of Law 2017-20 on the Digital Code of the Republic of Benin, every user has the right to access, rectify, and object to personal data concerning them, by submitting a written and signed request accompanied by a copy of their identity document signed by its holder, specifying the address to which the response should be sent.
No personal information of users of the platform www.watchman.bj is published without the user's knowledge, exchanged, transferred, assigned, or sold on any medium to third parties.
Right of Access
Under this law, internet users have the right to access, rectify, modify, and delete data that personally concerns them. This right may be exercised:

Personal information collected is under no circumstances entrusted to third parties.
Confidentiality
The User's personal data is confidential and will under no circumstances be disclosed to third parties. Only those persons required to be aware of such information for any processing related to a request are authorised to use it with a high level of protection.
Intellectual Property
All content on this platform, including but not limited to graphics, images, texts, videos, animations, sounds, logos, GIFs, and icons, as well as their formatting, is the exclusive property of Watchman, except for trademarks, logos, or content belonging to other partner companies or authors.
Any reproduction, distribution, modification, adaptation, retransmission, or publication, even partial, of these elements is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of the Watchman administrator.

Request for Authorisation to Reproduce Content
Any partial or full copying of information from https://www.watchman.bj/ is prohibited unless expressly authorised by the administrator following a publication request. The request must specify the targeted content as well as the publication or site on which it will appear. Once this authorisation is obtained, the reproduction of content must comply with the principles of the pre-signed agreement.
